When you are diagnosed with cancer, your first concern must be getting the medical care you need.  With proper medical treatment you will have a better chance of being successful in combating the disease.

As you progress through treatment, other pressing issues emerge which, if they are not dealt with properly, may interfere with your successful recovery. How can I pay for my medical care? How can I feed and support myself and my children during treatment? What steps should I take now to protect myself in the future? How can I keep working if I am undergoing daily cancer treatments? These and other questions can be answered by contacting LINC.

LINC is a non-profit organization founded by cancer survivors. LINC is dedicated to assisting cancer patients in navigating the various systems of public and private benefits, working through their employment issues, working through debt issues, and most of all helping them find the means to provide food and shelter while in treatment. LINC also has a network of attorneys and financial counselors who volunteer their services to low income cancer patients. These attorneys are familiar with the legal issues confronting cancer patients. You pay nothing for LINC’s referral services.
